Who Am I?
Tammy Myers, LMHC, CASAC, CCTP-II
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in the state of New York. I also hold licenses for Mental Health Counseling in Vermont and Pennsylvania. I have worked in many facets of both the mental health and addiction communities including inpatient, partial
hospitalization, intensive outpatient, non-intensive outpatient and
crisis settings.
I am a professional therapist specializing in mental health disorders, including addiction, anxiety, co-dependency, depression and PTSD. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health community and human services field with an emphasis on wellness, recovery, crisis intervention and education. Currently, I am employed as a therapist at Four Winds Hospital, providing individual and group psychotherapy to clients with both mental health and addiction disorders. I also treat issues such as stress management, anger management, relationship issues and grief and loss. I like to provide therapy with different modalities of treatment based on what is best suited for you.
